Les objectifs de la SOFETH sont : Promouvoir la recherche et l’enseignement dans le domaine de la discipline. Développer les échanges d’informations scientifiques, techniques et artistiques, à l’échelle nationale et internationale. Diffuser les résultats des diverses recherches en ethnoscénologie.
